In the absence of the classroom teacher, the substitute teacher promotes and nurtures the education of students by providing instruction, encouraging student progress and managing the learning environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintaining a safe and welcoming classroom environment
• Leading and facilitating activities for children
• Modeling positive and appropriate classroom behavior
• Maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
• Maintaining a high level of energy throughout the work day
• Maintaining strict confidentiality of all information regarding students
• Maintain and promote a positive attitude and reflection of Hardin ISD schools

 QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Reliable, punctual and available on short notice
• Subject to assignment grades Pre-K through 12
• Professional dress required.
• Prompt attendance required.
